Its Burwood...Are we safe?

Soooo this is what I was confronted with when I went to put the sign out at work today.

It has been abused severely and it looks like someone has snapped it in a fit of anger. AND only last week some hooligans tried to smash the front window and break in. I call them the wheelie bin thieves because they steal peoples wheelie bins to use to put the stolen merchandise in. So considering that my work is 3 shops down from a cop shop, these are bold acts. Is Burwood safe? There was a time when the only dangers seemed to be trying to get to Warrigle road before getting a tram ticket so its zone one or daring to cross Burwood hwy without the green man or those pesky undercover cop cars or people calling vegetarian, vagetarian. But now there are physically abused signs, smashed windows and stolen wheelie bins. Do you like what you are becoming Burwood? I do not....
